(here: Bitaxe_7641)
The following screenshots illustrate the connection via smartphone.
5. Configure Network
The network configuration view appears automatically.
If it does not, open your browser and navigate to the following address: 192.168.4.1
Enter your Wi-Fi credentials:
- Hostname: The name of the device on the local network (not relevant, best to leave as is)
- Wi-Fi SSID: The name of your local Wi-Fi network
- Wi-Fi Password: Your Wi-Fi password
Then click Save and then Restart. The Bitaxe will now restart.
Important Note on Network Configuration
Both the WLAN name and the password must be entered with the correct capitalization. Special characters and spaces must also be entered correctly, otherwise the Bitaxe will not be able to connect to the WLAN. It is recommended to use the integrated WLAN search (on the right in the Wi-Fi SSID field).
Tip: If the WLAN connection doesn't work, try using the guest WLAN. This often makes the connection easier.
6. Mining Settings
We recommend using the pre-configured mining pools. Simply enter your own Bitcoin address, to which you want to mine, into the two fields "Stratum User" and "Fallback Stratum User".
To give the device a name in the mining pool, you can add ".bitaxe" after the address. Example: bc1puft26r8tk48r3ne29t3uvvhe98jsmh8p9g7g29wcwnkkls4gze0s96sju7.bitaxe
Then press Restart again. The Bitaxe will now restart and immediately begin mining to your own Bitcoin address.
7. Display message
After the Bitaxe successfully connects to Wi-Fi, the Bitaxe and OSMU logos briefly appear on the display.
The display then switches between two screens every few seconds. All relevant information can be found here.
You can access the device via a browser using the IP address shown on one of the two display screens.
8. Access via Browser
