Bitaxe - Made in Germany
In principle anyone can build and sell a Bitaxe, because the schematics, board layout and firmware are open source. Many manufacturers around the world do so.
Our Bitaxe units are made by Bolt Engineering GmbH in Fellbach. This makes us manufacturer and retailer at the same time and, to our knowledge, the only Bitaxe manufacturer in Germany. Production takes place entirely in Germany.
Out of the box the Bitaxe 602 Gamma runs at 1.3 TH/s and the Bitaxe 603 Gamma at 1.54 TH/s. Many Bitaxe Gamma units from other manufacturers ship at around 1.07 TH/s. That is about 21 % more hashrate for the 602 and about 44 % more for the 603, with the same BM1370 chip. On top of that come factory-new chips, the all-black design with optional black Noctua fans, and support in German and English directly from the manufacturer.
