• Standard Heatsink (The Bitchin' Sink): Usually sufficient for normal operation, but the device – given its enormously high hash rate ex works – already operates at its limit even in standard mode. In case of temperature problems (overheating), or if the fan is too loud, throttling the computing power via the AxeOS operating system helps. Our recommendation in this case is a frequency of 636 MHz and a core voltage of 1125 mV. Note: This goes hand in hand with a reduced hash rate. In throttled state, the Bitaxe will then not deliver 1.3 TH/s.
• Overclocking: At your own risk! Devices overclocked beyond the frequency and voltage range provided in the firmware are excluded from warranty and guarantee.
• Regular Care and Maintenance: The Bitaxe is a high-performance miner that needs to be regularly dusted and maintained. Please also note that the thermal paste should be replaced at regular intervals (we recommend at least every 6 months).
