The Bitaxe 602 Gamma keeps the proven features of its predecessors and improves them where it matters:

1. BM1370 ASIC chip. The same chip as in the current Bitmain Antminer S21 Pro, assembled in Germany. The 602 Gamma uses brand-new chips only.
2. 1.3 TH/s out of the box. More is possible with stronger cooling (available as an upgrade, e.g. the Copperzilla 2.0).
3. Efficiency. Fitted with high-quality components from the factory. Bitmain specifies an efficiency of 15 J/TH for this chip.
4. Standard heatsink & fan. The Bitchin' Sink was developed specifically for the Bitaxe (thanks to IamGPIO) and cools more reliably than earlier standard heatsinks. It is paired with a 5 V Black Magic fan from Gelid. If you want it quieter, upgrade to the Noctua performance fan, which we also offer completely in black.
5. 41.6 W (5.2 V / 8 A) Bitaxe power supply included. Designed for stable operation, with a laser-engraved Bitaxe logo.
6. Made in Germany. From component selection to final assembly in Germany, with strict quality control, CE compliant. More on our Bitaxe Made in Germany page.

Mining pool in Germany. Our pool runs in Germany, which means lower latency for European miners. The only thing better is mining to your own Bitcoin node.

Open-source firmware. The firmware is developed by the community and can be customised. Become part of an active developer and mining community.

If you want to strengthen decentralised Bitcoin mining, the Bitaxe 602 Gamma is a good choice. Based on current statistics (as of February 2026), a block would be found on average every 100 days if around 50,000 Bitaxe Gammas were running worldwide at 1.3 TH/s each.

• Compact design & Wi-Fi: The ESP32-S3 microcontroller controls the miner and connects it to your network via the integrated Wi-Fi module, without a network cable. The miner takes up little space and fits well at home or in the office.
• AxeOS & detachable OLED display: With the step-by-step instructions and the AxeOS web interface, setup takes just a few minutes. The display is plugged in, not soldered, which makes maintenance easier.

• Standard heatsink: Usually sufficient for normal operation. Because of the high factory hashrate, however, the device already runs at its limit in standard operation. If it gets too hot or the fan is too loud for you, throttle the computing power in AxeOS. We then recommend a frequency of 525 MHz and a core voltage of 1150 mV. This reduces the hashrate: when throttled, the Bitaxe no longer delivers 1.3 TH/s. How to adjust the voltage step by step is explained in our Bitaxe Fine Tuning guide.
• Overclocking: At your own risk. Damage caused by operating the device outside the frequency and voltage range provided in the firmware (e.g. with custom or modified firmware) is not a defect of the device and is not covered by the legal guarantee.
• Care and maintenance: The Bitaxe is a high-performance miner and needs to be dusted and maintained regularly. You should replace the thermal paste at regular intervals, we recommend replacing it after about 6 months. After 12 to 18 months at the latest, it is necessary.
