Bitaxe 603 Gamma Bitcoin Solo Miner - Made in Germany

The Bitaxe 603 Gamma is an open-source Bitcoin miner with a single ASIC chip for solo mining at home. It is manufactured in Germany, CE compliant and comes with a number of technical improvements.

New on the Bitaxe 603 Gamma: it ships with the black aluminium version of the Copperzilla 2.0 on the chip. The matte black matches the board design.

• Copperzilla 2.0 as standard. The Bitaxe 603 Gamma comes with the black aluminium version of the Copperzilla 2.0 from the factory. The massive heatsink dissipates the ASIC's heat noticeably better, keeps temperatures low and ensures stable, quiet continuous operation in a consistent all-black look.
• Higher hashrate out of the box. With its factory tuning (750 MHz at 1250 mV), the Bitaxe 603 Gamma runs at 1.54 TH/s out of the box, its predecessor Bitaxe 602 Gamma at 1.3 TH/s.
• Brand-new chips only. The Bitaxe 603 Gamma uses brand-new BM1370 chips only.

• BM1370 ASIC chip. The same chip as in the current Bitmain Antminer S21 Pro, assembled in Germany.
• 1.54 TH/s out of the box. The Bitaxe delivers this hashrate without an additional upgrade.
• Efficiency. Fitted with high-quality components from the factory. Bitmain specifies an efficiency of 15 J/TH for this chip.
• Copperzilla 2.0 & fan. The Copperzilla 2.0 in black aluminium comes as standard for reliable cooling. It is paired with the original Thermalright fan. If you want it quieter, upgrade to the Noctua performance fan, which we also offer completely in black.

Mining pool in Germany. Our pool runs in Germany, which means lower latency for European miners. The only thing better is mining to your own Bitcoin node.

Open-source firmware. The firmware is developed by the community and can be customised. Become part of an active developer and mining community.

If you want to strengthen decentralised Bitcoin mining, the Bitaxe 603 Gamma is a good choice. Based on current statistics (as of October 2026), a block would be found on average roughly every 90 days if around 50,000 Bitaxe Gammas were running worldwide at about 1.54 TH/s each.

• Compact design & Wi-Fi: The ESP32-S3 microcontroller controls the miner and connects it to your network via the integrated Wi-Fi module, without a network cable. The miner takes up little space and fits well at home or in the office.

• Copperzilla 2.0: Its massive aluminium construction offers noticeably more thermal headroom than the previous standard heatsink. Because of the high factory hashrate, the device still runs under heavy load. If it gets too hot or the fan is too loud for you, throttle the computing power in AxeOS. We then recommend a frequency of 525 MHz and a core voltage of 1150 mV. This reduces the hashrate: when throttled, the Bitaxe no longer delivers 1.54 TH/s. • Overclocking: Out of the box, the Bitaxe runs at 750 MHz and 1250 mV. We have tested this setting and it is fully covered by the legal guarantee. Damage caused by operation above these values or with modified firmware is not a defect of the device and is not covered by the legal guarantee.
• Care and maintenance: The Bitaxe is a high-performance miner and needs to be dusted and maintained regularly. You should replace the thermal paste at regular intervals, we recommend replacing it after about 6 months. After 12 to 18 months at the latest, it is necessary.

How does the Bitaxe 603 Gamma differ from the Bitaxe 602 Gamma?
The Bitaxe 603 Gamma comes with the Copperzilla 2.0 in black aluminium, runs at 1.54 instead of 1.3 TH/s and uses brand-new BM1370 chips only.

How likely is it to find a block when solo mining?
Solo mining works like a lottery. With a network hashrate of around 990 EH/s (October 2026), a single Bitaxe 603 Gamma statistically finds a block about once every 12,000 years. The odds are the same every second, which is why small miners keep succeeding: in March 2025 a Bitaxe Ultra with around 480 GH/s found a full block.

Do I need my own Bitcoin node?
No. Enter the address of a solo pool and your Bitcoin address in AxeOS, and you are done. With your own node you mine without any third party.

Does the power supply fit any socket in the EU?
Yes. It has an EU plug.

• Only operate with the supplied power supply.
• Use indoors in dry rooms only, not outdoors, in bathrooms or in damp rooms.
• The heatsink and circuit board get hot during operation. Do not touch while running.
• Keep the fan and ventilation openings clear. Do not cover the device or run it inside a closed cabinet.
• Place on a solid, non-flammable surface, not on paper, fabric or carpet.
• Unplug the power supply before dusting or replacing the thermal paste.
• Operate and store out of the reach of children.
• Do not dispose of with household waste. Take waste electrical equipment to a collection point.
